Our team includes R&D experts, engineers, intellectual property specialists, finance gurus, business development wizards, industrial designers, and data scientists, all working together to turn your ideas into reality. Each member of our team brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table, allowing us to approach challenges from multiple angles and find the best solutions.

But we don’t just stop at assembling the perfect team. We also use a unique process to guide our innovation projects from start to finish. We call it the Innovation Cell methodology, and it’s designed to maximize creativity, efficiency, and impact.

Through this methodology, we create Innovation Cells for each project, made up of cross-functional experts from our team and our clients. This approach allows us to collaborate closely with our clients, fully understand their needs and goals, and ensure that the final product meets and exceeds their expectations.

We start by identifying the most relevant technological and market trends for the specific industry and project, and then we conduct a thorough analysis of the state of the art, the intellectual property environment, the competition, and the potential customers. With this information, we ideate and validate concepts, create prototypes and test them in the field.

I am a physicist, with professional training in high energy physics and data science. My passion is understanding complex scientific concepts and using them with a startup mindset to develop innovative products that can have a real impact on people's lives.

With 13 years of experience developing science-based products, I have a track record of projects in a wide range of industries, including automotive, appliance, healthcare, and sustainability.

I love working effectively in multidisciplinary teams and have the experience to bring together experts from different fields and use their unique perspectives to develop cutting-edge products.

I am also a project management expert with experience in short and long term hardward/software products.

I believe that to create high-impact solutions we must put people first.

Antonio Ruiz

I am a seasoned serial entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in finance and business development. Throughout my career, I have worked in high-profile institutions such as PEMEX and the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, and have successfully completed projects in a variety of commercial, services, and technology sectors.

I am passionate about creating innovative business models that address society's most pressing challenges and have a positive impact on people's lives. With my academic background in Economics from UNAM, a Master's in Finance from ITAM, and an MBA from IPADE (MEDEX), I have the knowledge and skills to develop financially sound and impactful strategies.

As a team player, I thrive in multidisciplinary environments and have the ability to bring together experts from different fields to create cutting-edge and successful projects.

I take pride in my track record of project success and my commitment to delivering results that exceed expectations.

Fernando Robles

As a founder and CLO of Machina, I bring over 20 years of experience in IP law and brand management to our team. I am passionate about helping our clients protect their intellectual property and resolving their legal issues, ensuring they can focus on growing their businesses.

My experience at Baker McKenzie has given me the opportunity to work on global businesses in a variety of industries, including food and beverages, fashion, and consumer goods. I have also worked extensively on pharmaceutical and regulatory litigation, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the complexities of IP law.

I joined the Machina team because I believe in the power of innovation and the impact it can have on businesses and society, and I saw the opportunity to use my expertise in IP to help drive that innovation forward.
